Senior Service Procurement Manager

We are looking for a Senior Service Procurement Manager.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that our service business runs efficiently with strong partners and optimized processes.
• Expand networks: Monitor the market, identify new partners, and manage the network from both a strategic and operational perspective.
• Services focus: Responsible for sourcing services such as processing, transport, warehousing, and customer-specific services in metal trading.
• Supplier management: Conduct supplier audits and perform supplier evaluations.
• Create added value: Develop innovative service solutions together with internal teams and continuously optimize purchasing conditions of existing contracts.
• Project-oriented work: Manage tenders, negotiate contracts, and steer service providers within projects.
• Ensure quality: Review existing supplier structures, optimize costs and performance, and ensure smooth operations.
• Process optimization: Drive optimization in procurement through digital solutions and improve collaboration with internal sales interfaces.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, business administration, or comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in procurement, ideally in project or service procurement in the metal industry.
• Knowledge of the metal processing industry or metal trading.
• CAD knowledge and ability to understand technical drawings.
• Strong negotiation skills, assertiveness, and cost awareness.
• Structured, analytical working style and enjoyment of cross-functional teamwork.
• Very good English language skills, any German language skills highly welcome.
• Willingness to national & international business travels.
