For our top client - international, leading producer of building materials in Bulgaria, we are currently searching for a highly experienced professional to join their team on the position of Head of Laboratory.

Are you a concrete technology expert ready to lead participate in innovations in the ready-mix sector? We are seeking a Head of Concrete Laboratory to manage the concrete lab operations with a strategic focus on ready-mix concrete development, quality assurance, and R&D.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage daily operations of the concrete laboratory

Oversee QA/QC for raw materials and production batches

Develop and test innovative ready-mix concrete products

Participate in R&D projects related to decarbonisation solutions

Conduct field trials and collaborate closely with batching plants and clients

Train technical staff and support cross-functional teams

Ensure full compliance with safety and environmental regulations
What We’re Looking For:

Master’s or Ph. D. in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or related field

Min 5 years of experience in concrete lab/testing environments or relevant

At least 2 years in a senior or R&D role in the ready-mix sector

Expertise in mix design, admixture technology, and compliance standards

Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
