AFTERSALES SERVICE MANAGER
THE ROLE is responsible for the overall service maintenance in Bulgaria of agricultural machinery falling within the nomenclature of the companies represented by the organisation and achieving optimal functioning of the work process in the "Service Maintenance" department and conducting control over the activities of employees in the given department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organizes, leads, and controls the execution of pre-sales, warranty, and out-of-warranty service, as well as the commissioning of agricultural machinery;
Trains, motivates and directly manages a large team of service engineers positioned in the regional cities in Bulgaria;
Ensures machinery operates correctly, undergoes timely maintenance, and preventive measures are in place;
Supervises equipment condition and recommend repairs or replacements or purchase new equipment;
Analyzes the causes of breakdowns and proposes solutions for their elimination, also prepares timely documentation related to the performed service activities;
Provides training to service technicians and conducts periodic control checks, together with service inspectors from supplier companies, on submitted claims and performed service inspections;
Communicates actively with the Company's customers, distributors, service providers for aggregates installed in the machines sold, employees of other companies, institutions, and organizations in connection with the work they perform;
Participates in the development of projects for new service centers, recruitment of new employees, provides an evaluation of the work of service technicians;
Organizes the preparation, transportation, and arrangement of equipment displayed at annual agricultural exhibitions, "Open Days, " and other initiatives related to the commercial presentation of the Company;
Establishes connections with other companies related to the service maintenance of the sold agricultural machinery;
Participates in the process of collecting receivables from customers related to service activities;
Monitors the spare parts market, the activities of competitors, and provides suggestions for actions, activities, and other changes;
Organizes training and personally conducts introductory training for new employees in the department, while takes care of developing their professional qualifications and improving their work efficiency;
Ensures control checks based on submitted claims and performed service inspections are performed timely and correctly;
Guarantees for the accurate and timely preparation of reports and statements on service activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
At least 5+ years of professional experience in the agricultural, automotive, construction equipment or similar equipment industry;
Bachelor technical degree or related engineering qualification;
Proven track record of people management experience and ability to motivate employees;
Excellent command of technical and business English and/or German, both written and spoken;
Skills in planning and organizing processes, as well as executing and implementing comprehensive projects and tasks;
Analytical, strategic planning and decisions making skills;
Skills in setting and imposing goals and tasks, delegating authority, and seeking responsibility (exercising control);
Pro-active, responsible, able to solve problems and show initiative;
Knowledge regulatory acts and requirements for the operation and repair of agricultural machinery would be an advantage;
A clean and valid driving license.
